 2014 Community Tobacco Survey Results

 Of Monroe County Residents:

  • 70% support smoke-free playgrounds.
  • 74% favor either restricting or completely eliminating smoking at public parks or outdoor recreation areas.

Smoking and Health Action Coalition (SHAC)

SHAC is a Community Partnership of the New York State Tobacco Control Program serving Monroe County residents.

  • The New York State Comprehensive Tobacco Control Program (NYS TCP) is a highly successful tobacco prevention program that saves lives and prevents kids from smoking.
